Ed Noriego started his career in the floor-covering industry 50 years ago at his grandfather's store, beginning with simple tasks like sweeping. Over the years, he worked his way up to become an installer, retail estimator, manufacturer’s District Manager, and eventually a store owner. His diverse experience has provided him with a deep understanding of the industry, allowing him to effectively manage and expand Valley Remnants and Rolls. Throughout his career, Ed has been guided by the principle, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” This philosophy is central to the mission statement of Valley Remnants and Rolls, which prioritizes people. Ed believes that forming strong relationships with customers is the key to success, and he is committed to offering exceptional service and high-quality products that meet their needs.
To demonstrate this commitment, Valley Remnants and Rolls provides the VRR Flooring’s "I Love My Floor Warranty" on all carpet and VRR branded waterproof plank flooring. If customers don’t love their floor within the first 30 days, the company will replace it — no questions asked. Hi, my name is Anthony Chavarria. I was born and raised in Fresno, CA, and I've been connected to Valley Remnants & Rolls for as long as I can remember. My journey with the company began when I was just a kid, spending my summer and winter breaks working in the back warehouse. From cleaning to making remnants, those early experiences laid the foundation for my deep understanding of the flooring industry.
Over the years, I transitioned from those humble beginnings to my current role as a sales representative. Today, I take pride in helping our customers find the perfect flooring solutions tailored to their specific needs. Whether it’s a small bedroom, a rental property, or a commercial business, I ensure that each customer receives personalized attention and expert advice.
I specialize in a variety of flooring options, including carpet, vinyl plank, and sheet vinyl. One of my favorite parts of the job is using my laser-accurate tape measure to provide precise measurements. Before embarking on this flooring journey, I worked as a Registered Dental Assistant. However, I decided to hit pause on that career to explore this new path, and it has been an incredibly rewarding decision. I find great joy in working with my customers to enhance their homes and bring their visions to life.

Matt has also held positions managing a store and working in sales. As a second-generation installer and licensed flooring contractor (now retired after 21 years), he has garnered extensive knowledge and skills in the field. Matt has worked independently as well as with different companies in the Valley and Bay Area, and he has been a valuable member of the Valley Remnants and Rolls team for the past 3 years.
Matt’s experience extends beyond installation and management. He has also been involved in training and mentoring new installers, sharing his knowledge and expertise to contribute to the growth of the industry. His comprehensive understanding of different flooring materials and installation techniques makes him a valuable resource for anyone seeking advice or guidance in the flooring business.
